VALVULOPLASTY BALLOON CATHETER
OSYPKA - VACS II y VACS III
VACS II
Special features:
- Dedicated low profile balloon to access small vessels and challenging vasculature
- Designed both for pediatric patients and minimally invasive access in adults
Indications for Use:
- Aortic valve stenosis
- Pre-dilation of the aortic valve, prior to TAVI procedures
- Pulmonary valve stenosis
- Stenosis of the pulmonary artery
- Aortic isthmus stenosis
- Dilatation of the hypertrophic right / left ventricular outflow tract (RVOT, LVOT)
PRESSURES:
Low profile VACS® II balloon (ideal without implant)
- Pediatric VACS® II, balloon diameter 4 - 16 mm, has a RBP of 2.5 to 6 atm (see table)
- Adult VACS® II, 18 - 30 mm balloon diameter, has RBP 1.5 to 2 atm (see table)
VACS III
Special features:
- It has a balloon segment with higher nominal burst pressure and resistance to perforation
- Designed for challenging applications, in calcified valves or vessels, and rigid estenosis
VACS III balloons come in the following length and diameter variations; below, a table with the details of each measure.
